The KAWS:HOLIDAY exhibition has travelled to several places worldwide, including Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, the United Kingdom and even outer space. Singapore is the seventh stop on the KAWS:HOLIDAY world tour, which started back in 2018. It is on display at The Float@Marina Bay and it is free of charge!
Come and take a look at KAWS’ signature character, Companion, in a reclined position and hugging a mini version of itself!
The exhibition of a giant 42m-long inflatable artwork by famous American artist, Kaws, whose real name is Brian Donnelly, has previously been ordered to stop by court order on 13 November, the first day of its showcase in Singapore.
Fortunately, the matter has been resolved and the exhibition has been allowed to reopen for public viewing on 16 November (Tue).
KAWS:HOLIDAY will be here to stay in Singapore until 21 November (Sun).
The showcase is organised by AllRightsReserved and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board. The creator of KAWS: Holiday hopes to give more people access to art, even under the current pandemic situation.
