2. Jinjo

Jinjo at Shaw Centre Orchard, by the Les Amis Group, is a modern sumiyaki restaurant helmed by chef Makoto Saito. “Sumi” means charcoal, and “Yaki” means grill, so the restaurant specializes in charcoal-grilled food, using seasonal ingredients sourced from Japan.

3. Wagatomo

Get a taste of spring in Japan with Wagatomo, a modern Japanese restaurant concept in Guoco Tower focusing on the charcoal grill and binchotan. It is headed by Chef Tomoyuki Kiga, the same brains behind the Wagyu-specialty store Gyu San!
Their menus aspire to be simple and satisfying, with a fuss-free ala carte menu available for lunch and dinner. The dishes include Maguro Tataki, Beef & Negi, and Baked Ringo. Beverage includes sakes, umeshu, and Japanese craft beer.

4. Wakuda

Wakuda is located at Marina Bay Sands in the hotel lobby and is 50 Eggs Hospitality Group’s newest concept, together with world-renowned, two-Michelin-star chef Tetsuya Wakuda, which adds that bit of Japanese zen element to the dining ambiance. There are also private rooms if you need to host guests. Other than Singapore, Wakuda also has a presence in Las Vegas.

5. Sushi Kimura

Sushi Kimura is a 22-seater sushi-ya, helmed by Head Chef Tomoo Kimura, who has more than 15 years of experience at several established and authentic traditional sushi restaurants in Tokyo, including a one Michelin-starred Ginza restaurant and a Singapore-based fine dining restaurant.
Fresh seafood is flown in from Tokyo’s Tsukiji market four times a week, and Chef Kimura only chooses ingredients that are in season so that his food is always impeccable.
Dishes including Chu Toro, Signature Toro Taku Hand Roll, Hotate, Kinmedai, Aburi O-toro, and Goma-Saba.
