1. Seng House

Tanjong Katong welcomes another café "Seng House" in the hood, this time from the folks behind Seng Coffee Bar at Changi Road.


Inspired by their Hainanese roots, diners will be able to find dishes such as Yellow Curry Chicken Bowl, Hainanese Pork Chop, Claypot Chicken Rice, and Oxtail Stew, most of them are only available after 11 am.


And the brunch options such as Seng Breakfast Club, Eggs on Toast, Dirty Steak Sandwich, Pork Swiss Sandwich, and Pancake Stack.

2. Columbus Coffee Co

A concept created by Atlas Coffeehouse and named after the great explorer Christopher Columbus. Highlights on the food menu include, for example, Butterscotch Banana Giant Pancake, Summer Chicken Stew, Classic Breakfast Set(scrambled eggs, creamy mushrooms, sausages & toast), and Curly fries.

3. Supernova

The Atlas Coffeehouse group is behind some of Singapore's most popular cafes and coffeehouses. You're probably familiar with Columbus Coffee Co. in Upper Thompson, Apollo Coffee Bar in Serangoon Gardens, Neptune in East Coast, Lunar Coffee Brewers in OUE Downtown Gallery, and now, Supernova in Katong.


Brunch favorites include Fried Chicken French Toast, Passionfruit French Toast, Chorizo Eggs and Avo, Baked Eggs, Steak Hash, and Buttermilk Waffles.

5. My Awesome Cafe

My Awesome Cafe is housed in the shophouse that used to be Chung Hwa Free Clinic. You can still see the facade with the Chinese words in black on the pillars at the entrance to the cafe.

6. ASK Coffee Roastery

ASK Coffee Roastery, also known as Akusukakopi, translates to “I love coffee” in Malay. Based in Shah Alam, Selangor. Their first outlet in Singapore is located on Seah Street.


You can get their filter coffee here. One of their popular bean selections is the Yunnan Red Wine, which has a sweet and fruity flavor. Other drink options include Espresso and Americano.


Apart from their drinks, ASK Coffee Roastery offers sweet desserts, such as Oreo Cheesecake and Royal Chocolate Truffle. They also have savory treats to choose from, including American Beef Pie, Chilli Crab Pie, and more!

The Great Mischief cafe takes influence from Spanish Catalan cuisine providing customers with unique dishes to try.

Lounge the day away with CMCR’s specialty coffee and brunch menu with crowd favorites such as the Turkish Common Man Breakfast or Fluffy Pancakes. For those who prefer a sundowner, sample from Drunken Farmer’s list of natural wines and sourdough pizzas like the Shrooms & Goat Cheese and signature starter plates like the Creamy Stracciatella.

10. Panquecas

Although they are named Panquecas’, which translates to pancakes, what they have on the menu resembles French pancakes—crêpe.


Expect to find a range of sweet and savoury crêpes, flavoured teas, coffee, and artisanal sodas. If that’s not enough, they have a slew of local-flavored thin pancakes and on the savory side of things, you can find the Pincanha Roll and Panqueca Roll.
