Customers overseas reported falling ill with Salmonella infection after consuming these sweet treats, prompting the recalls for Kinder products in Singapore as well.

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has recalled Kinder chocolate products from Belgium due to the possible presence of Salmonella. The recall has been issued since Wednesday (6th April). Yesterday (12th April), SFA expanded its recall of Kinder products to include one additional product.
The four recalled Kinder chocolate products are as follows:
Kinder Schokobons
Kinder Surprise Maxi
Kinder Mini Eggs
Kinder Egg Hunt Kit
“The move comes after The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued a notification on the recall of some batches of the product from Belgium.” - CNA Lifestyle
The compromised product from Belgium has a ‘best before date’ of between 11th July 2022 and 7th Oct 2022. Therefore, if you have purchased the compromised product, you are advised not to consume it - as mentioned by SFA.

Others develop diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps within eight to 72 hours. Most healthy people recover within a few days without specific treatment.

Diarrhea
Fever
Chills
Headache
Blood in the stool
