CVE-2021-30563 is the 8th zero-day vulnerability found in Chrome this year and the third in a month. But not to worry, Google normally releases fixes for zero-day attacks within a few days. However, for the fixes to be effective, all Chrome users need to update their browsers quickly.

Please follow these step-by-step guides to ensure that your browser is safe from the new threat:
1. On your web browser, go to Settings

3. Check whether your browser version on Linux, macOS and Windows is listed as 91.0.4472.164 or above
4. If not 91.0.4472.164 or above, manually check for updates, Click “Relaunch”, then restart your browser once the update is ready.

5. If yes 91.0.4472.164 or above, then your Google Chrome is safe!
