Cantopop couple George Lam and Sally Yeh to perform in MBS, Singapore in April

George Lam, a legendary figure in Hong Kong's music scene, will grace the Sands Grand Ballroom on April 28 with his highly anticipated concert, "One Night With George Lam." Accompanying him is his wife and fellow Cantopop luminary, Sally Yeh, who will make a special guest appearance.

At 76 years old, Lam has garnered numerous awards since his debut in 1978. Regarded as one of Hong Kong's trailblazing artists, the renowned tenor has released over 40 albums in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, featuring hits like "In The Middle Of The Water" (1980) and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" (1987). He has also graced the silver screen, earning a Best Actor nomination at the 1982 Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in Hong Kong director Ann Hui's "Boat People" (1982).



Married since 1996, Lam and Yeh are celebrated for their powerful duet "Everlasting Love" (1995). Yeh's notable hits include "Cool Walk" (1991), "Heartbroken In The Past" (1992), and "A Woman's Tears" (1993).
