The Bus Collective is not your average bus service; it is a community-centric project that prioritizes sustainability, connectivity, and social engagement. It is also the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.
The Bus Collective has repurposed and refurbished 20 decommissioned buses into temporary living quarters and these buses are parked at Changi Village, ready for use as alternative staycation options in Singapore!

Each of these 20 refurbished bus accommodations is named after an iconic location in Singapore - Clark Quay, Pioneer North, Duxton etc.
WTS Travel managing director, Micker Sia said: “By introducing The Bus Collective, we are redefining luxury hospitality, and pioneering an eco-conscious approach to tourism in Singapore... Through innovative thinking and resourceful execution, we are breathing new life into retired buses, transforming them into an unparalleled experience for our guests.”
The concept is unique, but the bespoke accommodation and experience cost a considerable SGD$268 to SGD$298 per night. Including taxes and additional charges, they can cost up to SGD$321 to SGD$357 per night.
