A total of 9 TEL stations are currently operating as of today.
The first stage of Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) MRT stations called TEL1 - Woodlands North, Woodlands and Woodlands South - was opened in January 2020.
Meanwhile, the second stage of Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) MRT stations named TEL2 - Springleaf, Lentor, Mayflower, Bright Hill, Upper Thomson and Caldecott - was opened in August 2021.
Another 11 new stations will open in the second half of 2022 as part of TEL stage 3, with 2 more stations opening at a later date.
On Wednesday (9 Mar), Minister S Iswaran mentioned that another 11 TEL stations will begin operations in the second half of 2022.
The new 11 TEL stations will run from Stevens through Orchard and Outram Park to Gardens by the Bay.
The so-called TEL3 will give commuters access to areas such as Great World, Maxwell and Shenton Way, connecting residents in the north directly to many destinations in the city, significantly shortening travel times, Mr Iswaran said.

As for Mount Pleasant and Marina South stations, they will open at a later date with the completion of housing developments in the area.
